Jordyn Burnouf
SevenGen Co-Chair, Student Energy
Jordyn Burnouf is a member of Black Lake First Nation and grew up in Île-à-la-Crosse, SK. Jordyn is Co-Chair of the SevenGen Youth Council, member of Indigenous Clean Energy’s Advisory Council and Sr. Associate with Medicine Rope Strategies. Jordyn has a passion for people, the environment, and finding innovative solutions to support communities. Her experience working with Indigenous communities and youth on wellness, environmental, and business initiatives extends through to public speaking and public relations, strategic planning and project development.
Her work currently includes the Indigenous Youth Energy Summit and the ImaGeNation Indigenous Youth Mentorship Program through SevenGen, as well as a national energy efficiency initiative called Bringing it Home through Indigenous Clean Energy. Jordyn is a proud and driven proactivist in the inclusion of Indigenous women and youth in the energy, industry, and business sector.
