I had the chance to participate in the Student Energy Career Training Program (SECT) when I was evaluating my career paths. Even though I already work in the energy sector, it isn’t easy to choose only one because there are so many exciting possibilities.

My interest in pursuing a career in data analytics and research was sparked by the program and mostly by the practicum project in market analysis. Since then, I have been learning more about this field of study and I’ll be taking on a new challenge at Enel in 2023 that will involve managing and analyzing investments in electricity distribution networks using a regulatory approach. I believe SECT helped me in developing both the soft and hard skills required for this role.

Additionally, learning about Student Energy’s impact and working with young people from different countries and backgrounds inspired me even more to support youth in Brazil through EnergyC, an innovation, communication, and training hub dedicated to the development of leaders in the energy sector through innovative projects.
