A E Persaud

A E is Student Energy’s Manager of People and Culture. Their approach to the field traditionally known as Human Resources makes use of liberatory frameworks rather than a reliance on punitive systems often embedded into organizational practices.

Before joining Student Energy, A E worked in the Hospitality Sector for over 16 years. In 2020, they began working as a community organizer focused on Labour Rights for restaurant workers.

A E also has a background in Documentary Filmmaking and holds a Master of Fine Arts from Toronto Metropolitan University.
