Autonomous University of Yucatan
Where in the world?
Study Energy at the Autonomous University of Yucatan is on a mission to build a community that can understand the implications of a sustainable energy transition and also participates in social projects that look forward to sustainable development. Student Energy at UADY will empower young people to take action so their members and their communities can be an active part of the energy transition. In turn, it will also participate in the creation of public politics and in the execution of projects that generate a positive impact in southeast Mexico.
Race for Energy
Race for Energy is an event aimed at raising energy awareness from a healthcare perspective.
K’iin is the Mayan word for “Sun.” As part of the Student Energy Leaders Fellowship, this project will build a solar farm across the university, or in a community that lacks energy access.
