Energy and Global Politics with Richard Connolly

Dr. Richard Connolly is the director for the Centre for Russian, European and Eurasian studies, and he is based out of the University of Birmingham. He gave a talk to both our members and members of the politics society focusing on Russia’s energy policy. The talk mentioned Russia’s need for fossil fuels, and went in depth as to Russia’s energy strategy for the future. The talk was followed by an extensive Q&A, followed by pizza and refreshments afterwards.
