The Student Energy Career Training Program has left an indelible mark on my journey. Before joining, I knew I needed a platform that could facilitate experiential learning, skill honing, and an expanded understanding of the dynamic energy landscape. The SECT program, a bedrock of opportunities, proved to be precisely the launching pad I sought.

My engagement with Power for All, a partnering organization, provided me with tangible learning experiences, showing me the life-threatening realities faced by those with scant access to energy. Nothing brought about greater fulfillment than to have witnessed the transformative impact of our team’s proposed solutions on the lives of more than 50 Ethiopian farmers today.

Collaborating with peers around the globe with aligning interests also served as a reminder of the pivotal role young people play in shaping the future of energy and sustainability.

I encourage every participant in the SECT program to make the most of the opportunities provided. Enjoy the adventure ahead!
