Jade Siewnarine

Jade is the Research and Youth Engagement Manager, currently leading projects under Student Energy’s newest portfolio which encompasses research projects and partnership-based youth engagement work with partner organizations.

Jade is passionate about climate communication in addition to exploring and advocating for human-centered, just, and equitable approaches to addressing the energy transition. She holds a Bachelor of Criminology and Environment and Health Geography from Western University where she completed her thesis on the environmental and social implications of the sustainable clothing industry.

Outside of work, Jade enjoys cooking, Power and Olympic lifting, biking around Toronto, and eating good food!
