Student Energy Summit

More than 600 delegates from across the world gathered at New York University Abu Dhabi to collaborate and discuss energy at the largest youth summit on energy. The Student Energy Summit empowered young people through various workshops, plenary sessions, and parallel panel discussions. Occurring biennially in different cities around the world, SES unites hundreds of students from countries all over the globe along with the world’s leading energy experts for a collaborative, multidisciplinary forum.

Join the next cohort of Guided Projects

Guided Projects is Student Energy’s clean energy project development program. Prospective applicants are invited to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) by clicking “get involved” below. By submitting the EOI form, you’ll receive the application link straight to your inbox as soon as a cohort you’re eligible for begins accepting applications. Applications open for solar project teams based in Canada on November 15, 2023.

Energy System Map

Explore the energy system with Student Energy! Built with contributions and input from young people from all over the world, the Energy System Map is a unique, accessible tool designed to be a universal entry point for learning about the world’s current energy system and identifying ways you can take action.

Chapters

Student Energy has over 40 student-led Chapters around the world that are taking action on energy in their communities. The Chapters Program enables students who are passionate about energy to establish a local branch of the organization on their campus.
