Ahmad Bassam is a Principal Consultant in Energy Policy and Strategy in the Middle East, with a strong background in sustainable energy, climate finance, and regulatory reform. He has led multimillion-dollar programs promoting energy efficiency and renewable energy, particularly within Jordan’s industrial sector. As a certified ISO 50001 lead auditor and UNEP/UNIDO trainer in sustainable business models and eco-design, Ahmad has worked with over 200 factories, supporting their transition to greener operations and helping advance national decarbonization targets.
With over 8 years of international experience, Ahmad has collaborated with major organizations such as the UNFCCC, UNDP, IRENA, and the World Bank. Ahmad brings a unique blend of technical expertise, strategic insight, and policy acumen to every project playing a key role in shaping a more sustainable and resilient future.
