Shakti Ramkumar is the Senior Director of Policy and Communications at Student Energy, where she leads strategic communications, research, and policy advocacy to empower over 50,000 young people in 120+ countries to drive a just and sustainable energy transition. With 7+ years of leadership in the world’s largest youth-led energy organization, she directs major research initiatives—including the Global Youth Energy Outlook and Energy Transition Skills Project—and oversees communications reaching more than 100,000 followers, along with educational tools like the Energy System Map, accessed by 17 million users globally. Passionate about building equitable energy and food systems within planetary boundaries, Shakti brings this vision to her role as host of Energy Voices.
