About the event
Our chapter’s inaugural event, ‘Fueling the Future Fest,’ took place in February 2024, marking a significant milestone for our team. During this event, we connected five local energy industry leaders and over 70 Memorial University students to engage in open discussions about the future of renewable energy in Newfoundland and Labrador. The event featured a panel discussion where our guests shared valuable insights with the student community, culminating in a pitching competition where students presented innovative ideas to accelerate the energy transition. Overall, it was a great success for our young chapter, and the first of many impactful events.
