What is the WSP Youth Advisory Council?
Selected from a pool of applicants, the WSP Youth Advisory Council is a team of global youth that will work with WSP USA’s new climate, resilience and sustainability national business leadership team to explore and provide recommendations as to how WSP can meaningfully promote and improve collaboration, innovation, sustainability, inclusion and diversity across the organization and with its participation in the International Coalition for Sustainable Infrastructure (ICSI) in cooperation with the Resilience Shift and Resilience First. Council members will work with WSP staff on internal task forces, focusing on the topics of innovation, equity in infrastructure, government collaboration, and partnerships, in addition to separate youth council meetings. Supported with training and guidance from Student Energy, the WSP Youth Advisory Council will learn crucial evaluation and policy review skills, the opportunity to work directly with WSP staff and implement change at an institutional level.
