I am Meron Alemu, an energy professional deeply passionate about driving Africa’s clean energy transition. With an academic background in Renewable Energy Technology, I’ve dedicated my career to expanding access to sustainable energy solutions across underserved communities. My work with organizations like GIZ Ethiopia and EWiEn has focused on solar technologies, clean cooking, productive use of energy, and integrating climate justice into energy programming. I am particularly driven by the belief that energy is not just a technical issue but a tool for social and economic transformation in shaping an inclusive, low-carbon future for the continent.
