Email Delivery & Safe Sender Guide

Ensuring You Receive Communications from Student Energy

At Student Energy, we collaborate with thousands of young leaders, university networks, organizations, and partners globally.

Because enterprise security filters (especially within Microsoft 365 and Exchange) are increasingly strict, legitimate operational emails between partner organizations can sometimes end up in junk folders or quarantine.

To ensure our program updates, grant notifications, event details, and partnership communications arrive reliably in your primary inbox, please review the quick steps below for your email provider or IT department.

For Individual Team Members & End-Users

If you notice our emails are going to your Junk or Spam folder in Outlook, Microsoft 365, or Gmail, these steps will ensure delivery directly to your inbox.

Note on Email Addresses: While most communications come from @studentenergy.org, our staff may occasionally contact you via individual staff Gmail accounts or from [email protected].

For IT Administrators & SecOps Teams

If an expected email from Student Energy does not show up in your or your team’s inbox or Junk folder at all, it is likely held in tenant-level security quarantine—which can only be accessed and released by your IT Administrator.

If your organization uses Microsoft 365, Exchange, or third-party security appliances (such as Barracuda, Mimecast, or Proofpoint), your SecOps team can assist by updating your tenant settings to trust our domain:

Technical Profile Summary
