Martha Atwine is a passionate Ugandan electrical engineer with hands-on experience in solar energy systems and a strong commitment to sustainability and community impact. She is the founder of LumiGuard Health, where she leads the development of solar-powered mosquito repellent lamps using upcycled materials to tackle both energy poverty and malaria. Martha’s work blends engineering, innovation, and purpose driven by a vision to make clean energy accessible, practical, and empowering, especially for underserved communities. She is deeply committed to using technology to create real change and advancing women’s leadership in the energy transition.
